COMMITTAL SERVICE FOR ALICE PALMER MITCHELL

Alice Palmer Mitchell, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. At Alice’s request, her body was donated to Vanderbilt Medical School.

The interment of her ashes is set for Sunday, May 15, 2016 at noon in the Memorial Garden at Grace Episcopal Church. The brief service of Committal is the final act of the community of faith in caring for her body. Grace Church is located at 20 Belvoir Avenue, Chattanooga.

• Proficient with the use of shop equipment including mills, lathes, grinders and welders
• Occasional bending, twisting, squatting and stooping to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Ability to read tooling prints and technical drawings

• MUST be available to work 2nd shift hours

Home In Apison Heavily Damaged By Fire On Tuesday

A home was damaged by fire Tuesday evening. At  6 p.m. , a neighbor called 911 reporting a house fire at 4724 Wesleyan Road.
