Fire Damages Home On Tennessee Avenue Late Sunday Night

Shortly after 11 p.m. on Sunday night, Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to a house fire at 5205 Tennessee Ave.
 
When the first firefighters arrived on the scene, flames were observed on the front corner of the structure. Battalion Chief Don Bowman said everyone got out of the house and no injuries were reported.

The firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze quickly and save most of the house.
 
The loss was estimated at $15,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
