Dewey William “Bill” Vinson, 76, of Whitwell, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Mary Vinson. Bill was a member of the Church of God.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Audra Mae Carr Vinson; three children, Dewey W. Vinson, Jr. “Billy,” of Dunlap, Karen (Michael) Cooley, of Cartwright and Shane (Shannon) Vinson, of Lewisburg; sister, Virginia Samples, of Chattanooga; brothers, Kenneth Vinson, of Florida, Ronnie Vinson, of Georgia; grandchildren, BJ Vinson, Kristy Vinson, Nathan Vinson, Zachary Vinson, Audra Lacey Cooley, Chad Edward Cooley, Tyler Shane Vinson and Haley Madison Vinson; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Caden, Lily, Tegan, Tucker and Karter; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19 and from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, with Rev. Henderson and Rev. Dunn officiating. Interment at Condra Cemetery
