Jimmy Ray Craig, 71, of LaFayette, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 15, 2018.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Craig and Margaret Pegg Craig.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Craig of LaFayette, Ga.; daughters, Tina (Bobby) Blevins of LaFayette, Ga., and Teresa Barnes of Harrison, Tenn.; sons, Kenneth Craig of LaFayette, Ga., Charles Allen of Dalton, Ga., Shannon Hampton of Flintstone, Ga., Jack (Shannon) Swan of LaFayette, Ga., and Coy (Robin Bandy) Hampton of Harrison, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Sheila (Lamar) Evans of LaFayette, Ga.; brother, Bob (Sheiliah) Craig of LaFayette, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor William Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers are Jacob Swan, Dusty Blevins, Coy Hampton, Kenneth Craig, Bobby Blevins, and Jack Swan.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
