Yellow Dragon Productions rehearses The Odd Couple, opening Oct. 4
Yellow Dragon Productions presents Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple, running Oct. 4-14 at St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Review for The Odd Couple:
Starring Rob Inman as Oscar Madison and Greg Glover as Felix Ungar, The Odd Couple centers around uptight, neat Felix Ungar and easygoing, disheveled Oscar Madison as new roommates. This classic comedy opens as a group of the guys assemble for cards in the apartment of divorced Oscar Madison. And if the mess is any indication, it's no wonder that his wife left him. Late to arrive is Felix Ungar, who has just been separated from his wife. Fastidious, depressed, and none too tense, Felix seems suicidal, but as the action unfolds, Oscar becomes the one with murder on his mind when the clean freak and the slob ultimately decide to room together with hilarious results as The Odd Couple is born.
Performances run Oct. 4, 5, 6, and 11 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 7 and 14 at 2:30 p.m. All performances are in Marshall Hall at St. Luke United Methodist Church, 3210 Social Cir.
