Kenneth D. Fogle Mickel, age 61, of Cleveland, formerly of Dayton, died early Friday morning, September 14, 2018 at his home.
He was born May 18, 1957 in Charleston, S.C. and was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth (Fogle) Mickel.
Ken lived in Dayton for many years until moving to Cleveland in 1993. He was an auto mechanic employed with Adcock Chevrolet in Dayton and then K & K Auto Repair in Cleveland. Ken enjoyed working in the yard and spending time with his family. He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife, Sheryl (Rockholt) Mickel of Cleveland; his father, Felix Mickel of Dayton; his son, Kenneth J. Mickel of Manchester, Ky.; daughter, Tabatha (Tim) Coleman of Dayton; four grandchildren; brothers, Keith Mickel of Dayton, Joey Mickel of Oklahoma and sister Debbie Chamberlain of Dayton.
The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to Hospice of Chattanooga and to Ken’s sister-in-law, Teresa Swearingen for their excellent care.
Funeral services for Ken will be held Monday, Sept. 17, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Tony Dodd officiating. He will be laid to rest at Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton.
