Beatrice Doss Norwood, 72, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018, in a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy Doss and Mary Francis McComb; daughter, Mary Diane Montgomery; and brother-in-law, Allen Johnson.
Survivors include her sons, Maurice Horton, Sr. and Fred Lee Armour, Jr.; daughter, Miler Ann (Arthur) Hurt, Jr.; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ollie Mae Johnson and Vivian (Bruce) Jones all of Chattanooga; and a host of other relatives.
She will lie in state on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Aaron Sims as the eulogist. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
