Blowing Springs Farm Opens Sept. 28

Blowing Springs Farm opens Sept. 28 with an all-new corn maze design and new supersized board games, like jumbo checkers and giant dice. The award-winning event’s 17th season is happening every Friday - Sunday through Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
 
Adults and kids alike can enjoy classic fall festival activities such as a pumpkin market, hayrides, duck races, pedal carts, cow train, a playground with tunnel slides and more. "The area’s best-kept fall secret is the closest farm to downtown Chattanooga, nestled at the foot of Lookout Mountain," officials said. 
 
Bagby’s Critter Corral returns with their petting zoo of mini Scottish Highland cows, alpacas, donkeys, sheep, pigs, goats, rabbits and a new mini horses.
 
Other “corny” activities include a corn crib station, corn slingshots and corn hole.
Food is also available such as sausage and pepper sandwiches, funnel cakes, roasted peanuts, Slush Puppies and fried Oreos.
 
Blowing Springs Farm is listed as a 2018 Top 20 Event by Southeast Tourism Society. Admission is $10 per person (ages four and up) and includes four tokens, with the option to purchase additional tokens. 
 
Blowing Springs Farm is owned and operated by See Rock City (SRC) Inc. SRC Inc. is a hospitality and entertainment company that features the world-renowned Rock City Gardens high atop Lookout Mountain, just six miles from downtown Chattanooga. SRC also owns and operates Battles for Chattanooga museum, Starbucks, the Incline Railway concessions and ticketing, RiverView Inn and Grandview Conference Center on Lookout Mountain, as well as Clumpies Ice Cream Co. in Chattanooga.
