William (Billy) Franklin Plumlee, 73, passed away Wednesday, August 15. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Burma Plumlee; parents, James and Virginia Plumlee; step-mother, Nancy L. Plumlee; sister, Carmen Tinker; and brothers, Joe Plumlee and Robert Plumlee.
He is survived by his daughter, Malinda (David) Davis; sons, Jimmy (Martha) Plumlee and Michael (Gina) Plumlee; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Schirmer, Helen Hoge, Bernice Brown, Paula Pace and Nancy Plumlee; brother, David Plumlee; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and church family.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17 in the Bryant Chapel, with Brother Steve Townson and Brother David Moses officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
