Kenney, Lloyd R., Jr. (Trenton)

Lloyd R. Kenney, Jr., 78, of Trenton, and formerly of Chalmette, La., passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. Mr. Kenney was born in New Orleans on May 8, 1940 to Loyd R. and Estelle Tassin Kenney, Sr. He was employed by Canteen Services of New Orleans and later Imperial Trading Co. for over 40 plus years, subcontracting through Martin Marietta at the Michoud Assembly Facility, working in Vending Services. Mr. Kenney also worked for Garden Bowl and Fazzio Bowling. He was of the Lutheran faith and attended First English Lutheran Church, New Orleans. Mr. Kenny was a Little League Baseball Coach in Rebel Park, Chalmette, La. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd R. and Estelle Tassin Kenney, Sr.; daughter, Lorie Lynn Kenney; grandmother, Viola Tassin-Brown; and grandmother, Sarah Kenney.

Surviving include his loving wife of 51 years, Jerilynn Culver Kenney, of Trenton, and formerly of Chalmette, La.; son, Lloyd R. Kenny, III, of Trenton; special companion and four-legged friend, Bella Vom Flutgraben; brother, Stanley J. (Linda) Kenney, of Slidell, La.; sister, Myrna Siers, of Maurepas, La.; and several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
