Evelene Stanley, age 83, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Quinton Memorial Health Care.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Stanley; son, David Stanley; and grandson, Tommy Stanley.
She is survived by her daughter, Fawn Stanley of Cohutta; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Renee Stanley of Cohutta and James Lewis and Reba Stanley of Cleveland; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dot and Garvin McCamy of Varnell, Betty and Wayne Reagan of Cohutta, Judy and Jack Keys of Ringgold, Clara Downey of Dayton, and Mary Singleton of Cohutta; brother and sister-in-law, Jacque and Bo Skidmore of Etowah; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 21, at 4 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with John Tudor and Rev. Dale Lawhorne officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at funeral home Saturday, July 21, from 2 p.m. until the service time at 4 p.m.
