The DeFoor Family has announced Old Gilman Grill as the newest dining destination in the West Village. Located on the corner of Pine Street and Eighth Street, Old Gilman Grill will feature an upscale dining experience in the heart of downtown Chattanooga. Old Gilman Grill is part of the vision the DeFoor Brothers had to develop a village around the Westin that will draw locals and travelers alike to eat, shop and stay.
The new eatery will pay homage to the century-old building that was once the headquarters for Gilman Paint. Walls will be adorned with images of the past, provided by the Gilman family.
Old Gilman Grill is an upscale American restaurant with a French twist. The menu will feature fresh, seasonal social plates and house specialties along with sweet and savory crepes.
“While developing the West Village, we knew we wanted to bring an elevated dining experience to the area,” said director of hospitality assets, Jay Raynor. “Guests can expect premium service and a chef driven menu with seasonal specialties.”
Old Gilman Grill is across from the Westin at 216 West 8th Street, Chattanooga. The restaurant will be open seven days a week. Reservations will be welcomed and groups can book gatherings in the private dining room. Follow for the latest on social @oldgilmangrill.
