Dos Bros Opens Southside Location For Mexican Food; Pier 88 To Serve Cajun Food On Gunbarrel

Dos Bros, which now features Mexican fare at a location on Highway 153 in Hixson is opening a Southside location.

 

It will be at 1700 Broad St. Suite #100.

 

The location in Hixson has been serving food for two years without selling beer.

 

Both locations were approved on Thursday by the City Beer Board for beer permits. 

 

Raulston Combs, owner of Doc Holidays Bar and Grill, 742 Ashland Terrace, was approved for a license in his name due to a partner leaving the business.

Hours for this restaurant are 10 p.m.–3 a.m. Entertainment is occasionally provided by a solo guitar player, said Mr. Combs. 

 

Pier 88, 2288 Gunbarrel Road. was also given a license to sell beer. This restaurant will be serving Cajun style seafood. Both beer and alcohol will be sold. Hours are from 11 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.
