The Chattanooga Lookouts won game two, 8-1, to split tonight's doubleheader against the Montgomery Biscuits.

After completing just two innings on Sunday, these teams resumed the game on Monday. Sean Poppen had started on Sunday and threw two scoreless innings, striking out four. When play resumed Monday, lefty Dietrich Enns was on the mound.

It didn’t go well. He was charged with eight earned runs on nine hits in 4 1/3 innings. He walked on and struck out one.

Todd Van Steensel came on and was charged with three runs on three hits and a walk in 1 2/3 innings. William Ramirez struck out two in a scoreless inning.

The first game of the doubleheader picked up where Sunday's suspended game left off. With the Lookouts leading 2-0, the Biscuits bats started off on fire, putting up five runs in the top of the third. In the bottom of the fifth inning the Lookouts seized back the lead with a five-run inning of their own. The 7-5 lead would disappear however, in the top of the seventh when Montgomery would score five more runs to put the game away to an 11-7 win.

Jaylin Davis was the standout in the first game for the Lookouts, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

The team also slugged four doubles and had 14 hits. Luis Arraez went 2-for-5 with his first double. Tanner English went 2-for-4 with his 11th double. Jordan Gore had two hits, including his first Double-A double. Zander Wiel also had two hits.

The regularly-scheduled game was just a seven inning affair. It was a bullpen game for the Lookouts. Tyler Jay started and threw two scoreless innings. He gave up one hit and struck out two batters.

Ryan Eades gave up one run over the next two innings. He struck out four. Lefties Sam Clay and Ryne Harper combined for three shutout innings

Just like the first game, the second game also started off well for Chattanooga. In the first inning the team scored on a RBI single by Davis. The rightfielder racked up another three hits to raise his average to .325.

After the Biscuits knotted it up in the third, Chattanooga took advantage of five walks to put up five runs and extend their lead to five. They tacked on two more in the fifth on a scoreboard hitting homer by Tanner English.

Davis had another 3-for-4 game. English hit his third home run, driving in three runs. Alex Perez had a hit, a walk and was hit by a pitch. Jimmy Kerrigan and Jordan Gore each had two walks.
