Mattie K. Coleman, 78, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Thomas Coleman; parents, Bertha and James Kellogg; brother, William Kellogg; sisters, Bernice Kellogg and Cora Kellogg; daughter, Yolonda Golson.
Survivors include her sons, Thomas Brown and Duree Brown; daughters, Donna Brown and Desiree Brown, all of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Stephanie Kellogg, Larry Brown, Lindra Crowder, Brenda Stewart, Jerome Stewart, Thomas Stewart, Anthony Jackson, Duree Brown and DaMichael Brown; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; devoted friend, Mary Haslering of Phoenix, Az.; hosts of other relative and friends.
She will lie in state on Friday, July 13, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. in the chapel with Pastor Brenda Bell-McAdams as the eulogist. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
