Senator David Perdue (R-GA) commented on President Trump’s plan to reorganize and consolidate the federal government:
“President Trump is a business guy and knows reorganizing the federal government is the only way to bring it up to speed with the real world.
Businesses reorganize and consolidate departments all the time.
"Over the past 16 years, our government has exploded from $2.4 trillion to $4.2 trillion. Look at the results – big government has failed. President Trump knows that if we’re going to rein in this egregious debt we have make the government responsible and accountable to the American people.”
