It’s been an amazing past seven days for members of the Ooltewah Tidal Wave swim team as they’ve beaten the top three teams since last Thursday.
It all began with a 56-point win over Stuart Heights and was followed by an impressive 82-point victory over the defending league champion Signal Mountain Green Giants on Monday.\
And now those folks from Hooterville can relax for a minute after winning for the fifth straight meet on Wednesday with a 410-385 win at Dalton.
Signal Mountain also got back on the winning track with a 418-289 win at Calhoun on Wednesday.
Anna Boyd, Leah Boyd, Noah Holliman and Jed Holliman all scored 19 points to lead the Tidal Waves while Brighton Smith and Sarah Sabou were next with 17 apiece.
The Dolphins, who are now 1-4 in the CASL’s Blue division, had five swimmers who maxed out with 19 points, including London Wagner, Carlin Hudson, Roman Valdez, Francis Luciell Cuaresma and Jonathan Shaheen.
Kara Lin Hoover, Laken Coppinger and Jewel Gordon were the only three Green Giants with 19 points while Audrey Rackel and Jack Smith both scored 17.
