Every Woman Fashion Show Will Be Held Friday

Wednesday, June 20, 2018

Local film writer and director Abigail Blake will host a fashion show featuring twenty local women of all ages, colors, shapes and sizes as a fundraiser for her upcoming short film.  The event will be held at University of Tennessee Chattanooga - Auditorium on Friday.

The film, to be produced by Theeves Productions and shot in Chattanooga, will explore the issue of sexual assault from a female’s perspective and hope to change common misconceptions surrounding the topic.

Ms. Blake and Ms.Douglas will also be making a large donation to Partnership for Families, Children and Adults - a local non-profit that seeks to help rape and domestic violence victims.

Along with the fashion show, there will be a silent auction and a preview of Ms. Blake’s upcoming film to be released later this year, and ready for the independent film festival circuit for 2019.

Silent Auction starts at 6:30 p.m.  Fashion show starts at 7:15 p.m.
