Preventing And Reversing Diabetes Seminar Meets Weekly Aug. 9-Sept. 20

A scientifically-based seminar on preventing and reversing diabetes is coming later this summer.  The program is physician supervised with lectures, food tasting and recipes.

Weekly meetings on Thursdays will begin Aug. 9 and end Sept. 20.

Two locations and times will be offered:

1. Eastgate Town Center, 1-3 p.m. 
2. Chattanooga First SDA Church, 6-8 p.m.

State Democrats Refile Suit In Hamilton County Seeking To Keep Robin Smith Off The Ballot

The Tennessee Democratic Party has refiled a lawsuit seeking to keep former state GOP Chairman Robin Smith off the ballot in the Aug. 2 primary ballot. Ms. Smith was the only candidate after Rep. Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched at 6:03 a.m. on Tuesday, to a commercial fire at 400 Workman Road.
