  • Tuesday, June 19, 2018

The Fairyland Flash had their best swim meet of the season at home Tuesday night when they beat the Country Club Wavemakers by a single point, handing the visitors their first loss of the season after four straight wins.

Country Club had prevailed by a lopsided 466-322 margin just last Thursday, but the Flash was more than ready for the competition the second time around.

Improving to 2-2 overall in the Red Division, the Flash got the maximum 19 points from Ellie Taliaferro, Ben Bevill and Ethan Bevill while Bo Ozburn and Frances Bohner added 18 points apiece for the winners.

Farah House was the leader for the Wavemakers with 19 points while Ryan Berry followed with 16.  Ian Jacobs and Lydia Bohannon had 15 points each for Country Club.

Both teams will be at home for their next meet on Monday with Fairyland hosting undefeated Catoosa and Country Club entertaining Big Ridge.
