The Cumberland Trail State Scenic Trail announced the North Chickamauga Creek State Natural Area will be closed Wednesday until further notice, officials said.
Bradley Smiddy said, "This closure is due to construction and in regards to public safety. This closure includes all areas of the North Chickamauga Creek gorge including the Blue Hole.
"Violations on this closure will be subject to towing and citation."
