Randall “Mitchell” Peavy
Randall “Mitchell” Peavy, age 70, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday May 23, 2018 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Oct. 6, 1947 a son of the late Albert and Leona Stevens Peavy. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Shea Bell. He proudly served his country as a United States Marine.
He is survived by his daughter, Meleah Bell of Calhoun; granddaughter, Bobbirae Williams of Calhoun; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Kay Peavy of Chatsworth; nephew, Blake Peavy of Chatsworth; and special friend , Roger “Croc” Gentry of Dalton.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Randall “Mitchell” Peavy will be held Tuesday, May 29, at 10:30 a.m. from the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga. with American Legion Post 112 in charge of military honors.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Monday.
