Shirley Baxter
Shirley Bernice Baxter, 82, a resident of Old Fort, Tennessee, passed away on Monday May 21, 2018.
She was born on Nov. 1, 1935, to the late Jewell and Hattie Keller. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and making crafts, but more than anything, she loved her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Baxter, and her siblings, Reba Henley, Margie Thomilson, Charles Keller, Kenneth Keller, and Lee Keller.
Shirley leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving daughter, Paula Baxter (Keith Husband); sister, Robbie Willis; grandchildren, Jagger Bearden and Kirstie Rhoades; great-grandchildren, Carson Rhoades and Cayden Rhoades; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Friday May 25, at Companion Funeral Home, at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, Tn. 37311.
A celebration of life service will begin at 12 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Guinn Green officiating.
Following the service, Shirley will be laid to rest in the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery.
