Vision Hospitality Group Celebrates 21st Anniversary With 2nd True Blue Week

  • Wednesday, May 23, 2018

Vision Hospitality Group reached a significant milestone as the team celebrated 21 years of family, community and service. To commemorate the anniversary, the Chattanooga-based, award-winning hospitality company held its second True Blue Week, a week dedicated to giving back to the communities that Vision has been a part of over the past two decades. The company was founded on seven core values with an emphasis on Community, and to this day, the team continues to appreciate the support of the neighborhoods that have welcomed Vision hotels across the country.

Named after the company’s True Blue culture program, True Blue Week encourages each associate to devote their time and talent to a social issue of choice. The celebration was successfully concluded with 566 volunteered hours, which impacted 475,372 lives. The service projects were chosen based on the associates’ passions, which ranged from environmental conservation to animal cruelty prevention, and included work with over 25 organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House, St. Jude Rock-n-Roll Marathon, Salvation Army, Chattanooga Community Kitchen, Homes for Hope India and National HealthCare.

“An important part of Vision’s success comes from the communities that have supported Vision over the years,” said Vision President and CEO Mitch Patel. “I am honored to celebrate Vison’s anniversary by giving back to our neighbors, and to be surrounded by such a generous and passionate team. I’m so proud to hear about all of the impacts made in each community, which is proof that amazing things can be accomplished when we work together and stay true to our values.”

Vision’s True Blue Week channels the value of community into seven short days; however, this anniversary week is only a small fraction of the company’s ongoing philanthropic efforts. Vision’s 33 hotels and corporate team are committed to participating in at least one service project per quarter. With hotels stretching through six states and counting, Vision is always seeking opportunities to make a difference and participate in community service efforts throughout America.
