Joe Walker
Joe Ivan Walker, 70, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away on May 19, 2018.
He was born in Rock Island, Il. Joe loved to play golf and loved sports. He was a huge St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Celtics fan. Joe especially enjoyed watching Larry Bird play basketball. He was a carefree guy who never met a stranger and always treated life as a party.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Web Walker and Helen Walker; brother, Robert “Bob” Walker.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sue Walker; children, Kristin (Steve) Blevins, Todd Walker and Katrina (Sean) Kelley; grandchildren, Mason, Max, Kayla, Emily, Phoebe and Kenna; brothers, Gary (Becky) Walker and Steve (Micky) Walker; many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 24, from 12-3 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held after visitation on Thursday, May 24, at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
