Norma J. Nix Tressler, age 79, of Orchard Road, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Thursday evening, May 17, 2018, a her residence following an illness.
She was born in Alpharetta, Ga. on Sept. 17, 1938, to the late Arthur Clarence and Thela Cook Nix. Mrs. Tressler was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, the late Gerald Joseph Trerssler and daughter, the late Lisa Renee’ Stanley.
Surviving are son, Joseph L. Tressler, Leesburg, Al.; sister, Pat Nix, Summerville; grandchildren, Mariah Tressler, Tyler Carder, Matthew Carder, and Cailey Tressler; great-grandchildren, Azlynn, Asher, and Wyatt; and nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
The family will be at Earle Rainwater Funeral Home Saturday at 7 p.m.
