The Second Annual International Community Garden Luncheon will be held at the Highland Park
Commons Pavilion on Saturday at 1 p.m. This luncheon is at no charge to the community. There will be complimentary food from area restaurants and entertainment will be provided.
"We will be celebrating the rich diversity we have in Chattanooga and the impact community gardening has on the community," officials said. "Two tons of food is produced and gives aid each year for hunger relief at the Highland Park Commons. All are welcome to attend this fun and free luncheon event celebrating the environment and multi-cultural diversity in community gardening."
A workshop will be presented at 12:45 p.m. by A and Bee’s Honey Hive where guests will learn more about honey bees and how they support the eco-system.
