Annual Go Red For Women Luncheon Is Friday

The Annual Go Red For Women Luncheon Fighting Against the Leading Killer of Women will be held on Friday at the Chattanoogan Hotel. 

The event is presented by The American Heart Association. 

The Go Red For Women Luncheon will include a VIP Area sponsored by Mark Hite Team at Keller Williams and a fashion show sponsored by Frankie & Julian’s Boutique. 

There will be heart healthy experiences sponsored by Cancer Treatment Centers of America, 
Vascular Institute of Chattanooga, and Cempa. A Chance to Win will be sponsored by Southern Surgical Arts. 

CPR demonstrations will be given by We R CPR. Ruby Falls Million Steps March will be activated and there will be an honoree story and a survivor walk. 

Guests will begin arriving at 10 a.m. and the program begins at 11:30 a.m. 

 



Chattanooga Heart Ball Nets $404,000 For American Heart Association

The American Heart Association’s 31st Annual Heart Ball, chaired by John and Lynn Anderson, netted over $404,000.  Proceeds from this event will help The American Heart Association reach their 2020 Impact Goal to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent and reduce deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent by the year 2020. Aaron Biddle, 21, Shot And Killed On Basswood Drive Saturday Afternoon

Aaron Biddle, 21, was shot and killed on Saturday afternoon. The Chattanooga Police Department responded around 3:45 p.m. to the 7800 block of Basswood Drive on reports of a person who had been shot.  Upon arrival, police were able to locate the victim who had succumbed to his injuries.
