Northside Neighborhood House Receives $5,000 Donation From First Watch Pre-Opening Event

  • Monday, April 30, 2018
First Watch, breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant, 300 Cherokee Blvd. in North Chattanooga, partnered with Northside Neighborhood House to collect donations to support people in need in Chattanooga. The restaurant company contributed 100 percent of the donations collected during its pre-opening event to the organization, which totaled $5,000.

Guests were invited to attend a soft opening of the concept before the restaurant officially opened its doors on April 2. During the pre-opening event, guests enjoyed a complimentary meal and were encouraged to make a donation to the Northside Neighborhood House.

“Partnering with the Northside Neighborhood House was an easy decision since they are our close neighbor on the Northshore and do such great work supporting community members in need,” says Nadim Jubran, business development and marketing manager.
“As a matter of fact, when asking around, Northside Neighborhood House was the local favorite.  It was apparent this is a trusted and necessary organization in our area and that is exactly who we want to partner with.”

“This generous donation from First Watch allows us continue our mission to provide a hand up through education and direct assistance programming,” says Brianne Lalor, chief development pfficer for the Northside Neighborhood House. “Our goal is to move those in need towards self sufficiency and stability. Partnering with businesses like First Watch allows us to serve thousands of neighbors in need every year.”

First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers customers complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
