Signal Mountain Middle High School sophomore Olivia Speek has worked in collaboration with community member Ruth Farrimond to coach a middle school theater club, and they are a week and a half away form presenting their first ever full length musical - The Aristocats Kids. The show is based on the famous 1970's Disney film.
The performances will be Friday and Saturday, May 4-5, at 7 p.m. at Signal Mountain Middle High School. Tickets are $5 for students and adults.
The music and lyrics are by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, Al Rinker, Floyd Huddleston, and Terry Gilkyson. It has been adapted and arranged with additional music by Bryan Louiselle. The book is adapted with additional lyrics by Michael Bernard.
