Quinton Bain, 88 of Walling, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. 

Born Sunday, May 5, 1929, in Walling, he was the son of the late John and Mae Belle Jared Bain. He served in Germany during the occupation and taught tank and gunnery during the Korean War. He loved to study and teach God's word. He served as an wlder at Calvary Bible Church in Chattanooga and Grace Presbyterian in Cookeville. He retired from Newton Chevrolet in Chattanooga after 42 years of service. He was a loving father and husband. 

Quinton is survived by his wife, Ola Nadine Bain of Walling; son, Roy Quinton Bain (Nancy) of Walling; daughter, Carol Bain of Chattanooga; granddaughters, Jennifer Benay Lewis and Teresa Jodine Bain; great-grandchildren, Madison Lewis, Amberlynn Lewis, Quinton Lewis, and Angelina Whited; sister, Mary Roberson of Chattanooga; brother, John Bain of Walling; many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors also survive.

Funeral services will be at noon on Thursday, April 26, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with Christopher Donnelly and Andy Berg officiating. Burial will follow in Norris Bain Pollard Cemetery in Walling. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 25, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Benton Bain, J.K. Bain, and David Bain; and sisters, Ruth Goodwin and Clela Wingo.
