Soddy Daisy Man Pleads Guilty To Child Rape; Montgomery Gets 15 Years

A Soddy Daisy man pleaded guilty on Monday to sexual battery by an authority figure and statutory rape by an authority figure.

Scott A. Montgomery received concurrent 15-year and six-year sentences.

Montgomery, 42, of Dallas Hollow Road, appeared before Criminal Court Judge Barry Steelman.

The indictment says the rape was of a female, who was under 13 years old when she was first assaulted.
