Sandy J. Allen
April 18th marked the sudden and untimely death of Sandy J. Allen (Cee), of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Cee was preceded in death by his wife, Jenifer Allen, mother, Irene Henderson Allen, father, Sandy G. Allen, four siblings, Grady Heard, Herman Allen, Mary Allen and Lorene McDuffy.
He is survived by his siblings, Horace Allen and Mae LizzieForeman. Cee is survived by his children, Ellis Allen, Billy Moton, Sandra Allen Moore, Malissa Parham, Ronald Allen, Lovie Simmons, Dedrick Allen, and Dameyun Allen. Cee is grandfather to 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition, Cee is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
Cee was known as a devoted family man and friend. He served briefly in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from Mueller Company after 20-plus years of service.
He was funny and strong and enjoyed the outdoor life, fishing, gardening. and watching sports. Cee was a man of simple tastes, had a strong work ethic and a caring soul, and we are thankful to God for the blessings that we experienced through him.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation is on Friday, April 20, from 6-8 p.m. in Advantage Chapel. Services will be on Saturday, April 21, at 1 p.m. in Advantage Chapel. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
