Kenneth Edward Holliefield, 75, of Ringgold, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018. A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, he was a former employee of the Chow Time Restaurant and Wilson’s Funeral Home. He was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Abe and Vinie Holliefield; sisters, Jeanette Ballard, Dolly Clark and Linda Kay; and brother, Wayne Hollifield. 

He is survived by his wife, Diane Johnson Holliefield; daughter, Stacy Holliefield; sisters, Faye Mong, Darlene Underwood and Geneva Shields; brothers, Cecil (Cleo) Hollifield, Hershel (Alice) Hollifield, Larry (Linda) Hollifield, Jim (Jean) Hollifield and Paul (Leann) Hollifield; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and James Johnson; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 12 in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Carroll Allan officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
