Residents at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer's Center of Excellence, Chattanooga celebrated their win over The Lantern at Morning Pointe in Collegedale, as they prepare for the Cornhole Championship Game on March 26.
The Morning Pointe of Chattanooga assisted living and Alzheimer's memory care communities are advancing to the first annual Cornhole Championship Game, taking place at Grace Baptist Academy, 7815 Shallowford Road, on Monday at 5 p.m.
After more than 10 weeks, the residents at all five Morning Pointe communities in Chattanooga, Collegedale and Hixson have been facing off in a series of cornhole games, and will come together to cheer on their favorite teams on the tournament day.
This will be a community event that’s open to the public.
Greg Vital, president and CEO of Morning Pointe Senior Living, will open the event with a welcome greeting, followed by the presentation of the flags and the national anthem. Food and drinks will be offered and all proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
