  • Thursday, March 22, 2018

La Paz Chattanooga hosts its annual Sangria on the Bluff fundraising event on Thursday, May 17, to benefit Chattanooga’s Latino community.

Sangria on the Bluff is La Paz Chattanooga’s much-anticipated annual cultural event highlighting Latino and Hispanic heritage. The Hunter Museum will serve as this year's backdrop to an evening of cultural richness and vibrancy.

Spain will be featured this year, acknowledging the root of Hispanic heritage, influencing what is known as Latin America. Spanish culture will be showcased through performances from dance group Caló Gitano. Fresh sangria, beer and wine will be served next to an array of authentic Spanish cuisine.

The event will be held at the Hunter Museum of American Art from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for $85 online at www.lapazchattanooga.org/sangria.

Sponsors include Coca-Cola, Kelly Cars and First Tennessee.
