Mary Bell Brown
Mary Bell Brown, 85, passed on March 16, 2018. She was a graduate of Howard High School in the “Class of 1951”.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Carrie Brown; brother, George Brown, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Marva Brown Taylor; god-daughters, Della Barney, Jacksonville, FL, Glenda (Norris) Morris, Antioch, TN; god-grandson, Maurice (Atitqua) Robinson, Hephzibah, GA; great granddaughters, Dashinaye and Jadienna Robinson, Hephzibah, GA, great great granddaughter, Sa-Layiah Screws.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018, at Prospect Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Jay P. Trimble officiating. Interment is at Lakewood East.
The body will lie in state after
12 noon Thursday, March 22, and the family will receive friends from
6:30-8:30 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home,
