Winters, Jimmy Lamar (Ringgold)

Jimmy Lamar Winters, 71, of Ringgold, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018.  He was a life-long resident of Ringgold.  He was a loving father, “Daddy-Pa,” and friend, who will be greatly missed.  He was a member of Clearview Baptist Church.   

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Thelma Winters; daughter, Jennifer Winters; grandson, Cody Campbell; sister, Jean Sipe; and brother, Richard Winters.

He is survived by his children, Kim White (Tim), Angie Bain (Gregg), Tonya Lee (Joey) and Jimmy “Jimbo” Winters; five grandchildren, Balee, Brittany, Gunner, Colter and Brody; sisters, Bettie Crosson, Ann Hodges and Helen Irvin; and brother, Bobby Winters.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Herman Kapherr officiating.  Interment will be in Daily Hills Cemetery.
