Nellie May Gillis, 83, of Trenton, passed away at Hospice of Chattanooga on Saturday morning, March 10, 2018. She was a beloved housewife and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Gillis; son, Perry Allen McDonald; and granddaughter, Tiffany Marple.
Survivors include daughter, Janie (Franklin) McDaniel of Trenton; sons, Ira McDonald, Jerry McDonald and Terry McDonald, all of Trenton; three grandchildren, Pamela (Stanley) Champman, Kerterina Marple and Terry Allen McDonald; five great-grandchildren, Michael Lowery, Sarah (Jennie) Plumbley, Clarissa Lowery, Samantha Lowery and Charles Lowery; and two great-great-grandchildren, Haven Weldon and Riley Weldon.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, March 16 at Ryan Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. before the service at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton.
