Pricing Of Wood Chips At The Wood Recycle Center To Change March 19

The City of Chattanooga Public Works Department has changed the price for the sale of wood chips back to it’s normal bulk market rate of $8 per ton for mulch over 5 tons effective Monday, March 19.

For less than 5 tons, the minimum rate is $20 per ton.

All residents residing within City limits are still able to receive wood chips free of charge. All non-residents and businesses may take advantage, purchasing wood chips at the City’s Wood Recycle Center, 3925 North Hawthorne St. 

The facility is open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
