Linda Ruth Daffron Smith
Linda Ruth Daffron Smith, age 71, of Dalton, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, March 9, 2018 after years of decline.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Joseph and Grady Allen Harrell; parents, Howard and Maxine Daffron; a brother, Gene Daffron; and a nephew, Dawson W. Smith.
Linda was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
She will be missed by her loving daughter, Heather (Shawn) Leatherwood; sons, Robert Harrell and Timothy (Kathy) Smith; sister, Donna Daffron; brothers, Pete (Trish) Daffron, and Jimmy (Cindy) Daffron; lifelong family friend, Brenda Pratt; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends also survive.
A funeral service will be held Monday, March 12, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Darey Kittle officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 11, from 5-9 p.m.
