Dorothy Brewer-Holder, 82, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Friday March 9, 2018.

Dorothy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ambrose and Ida Forgey; first husband, Paul Brewer; second husband, Luther Holder; son, Wayne Brewer; and brothers, Charles Forgey, Lake Forgey, Donald Forgey, and Clyde Forgey.

Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Marcia Cochran (Mitchell) and Melinda McDaniel; grandchildren, Stephanie Grider (Eddy), Lauren McDaniel (Paul Ridgeway), and Matthew McDaniel; great-grandchildren, Kayle Bishop and Landon McDaniel; brothers, James Forgey (Gladys) and Leroy Forgey (Agnes); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. 

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 12, from 1-2 p.m. at Companion Funeral Home, at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, Tn., 37311.

Following the visitation, Ms. Dorothy will be laid to rest in the Fort Hill Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.

The family wants to express a special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga for their outstanding care and compassion shown to Ms. Dorothy during their time caring for her.
