Juanita DuBard Spencer
Juanita DuBard Spencer, 84, of Chattanooga passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at her home.
She was born on Aug. 4, 1933, in Spartanburg, S.C.., to the late Robert and Gladys DuBard.
She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved gardening, politics, Christmas and her family.
She was a registered nurse in Rock Hill, S.C., and most recently with Portamedic in Chattanooga.
Mrs. Spencer was a true friend who was always willing to help friends, neighbors and others in need.
Her husband, Ralph Earl Spencer and brother, Bobby DuBard preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Dawne (Gary) Keown of Chickamauga, Georgia, Diana (Gary Davis) Spencer of Decatur, Georgia, and Juanita (Richard) Meier of Sale Creek, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Amber (Wes) Hysell, Jason Keown, Adam Davis, Jami Perdue, Matt Davis, and Lacey Davis; three great grandchildren; and her beloved Shih Tzu, Sasha.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 1, at 1 p.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel.
Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
