Willie “Billie” Smith DeFriese, passed away on February 17, 2018.

Born March 19, 1924, she was the widow of Malcolm “Mack” DeFriese. 

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, and godchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. Smith, six sisters and four brothers.  

She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School Class.  She was retired from the Office of Power of TVA.  

Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held at the Chattanooga Funeral Home-East Chapel, 404 South Moore Road on Friday, Feb. 23, from 7-9 p.m. and at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 1-2 p.m. A service will follow at 2 p.m. and the graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery afterwards.
