Cleveland State Women Defeat Roane State, 57-51

The Cleveland State Women's Basketball team defeated Roane State by a score of 57-51 on Saturday, improving their record to 14-9 (9-7). 

Leading the Lady Cougars was a duo of Abby Hubert and Keya Jenkins, each scoring 15 points.

Hubert added 3 assists and 2 steals to her line while Jenkins snagged 11 rebounds. Julia Gaither also had a nice game, scoring 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. As a team, the Lady Cougars shot 44% from the field while shooting a 62.5% from the arc. They also had a nice day at the charity stripe, making 75% of their free throws.

Next up on the schedule, the Lady Cougars are at home as they take on Dyersburg State at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 23
