Emerson Russell No Longer Selling Used Vehicles At Highway 153, Shallowford Road

  • Monday, October 22, 2018
A used vehicle dealership started by Chattanooga businessman Russell Emerson in July 2016 is no longer selling cars.

A representative of CarExpress said the office will remain open for up to three years as a payment center on existing leases, but there are no longer any cars being sold. The service area is still open.

It was announced at the time that Mr. Emerson was joining with longtime local car dealer Joe Prebul in the project at Highway 153 and Shallowford Road.

Some $6 million was being invested with a model of one-price and no haggling.

The business was most recently headed by Candace Russell, daughter of Emerson Russell, it was stated.
