#12 Dalton State got off to a hot start and kept the momentum going throughout the afternoon firing a two round total of (-11, 565) and sits in first place heading into the final round of the Bojangles Tennessee Intercollegiate at Tennessee National Golf Club in Loudon, Tn.
The Roadrunners hold a 12 shot lead over (RV) Truett-McConnell (Ga.) in second at (+1, 577). #13 Point (Ga.), (+5, 581), is in third followed by Tennessee Wesleyan, (+6, 582), in fourth. (RV) Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), (+7, 583), rounds out the top-5.
Freshman Zach Womack leads the way for the Roadrunners after rounds of (68-71) for a score of 5-under-par and sits in third after his first competitive rounds this season.
Ben Rebne, (-4), is right behind in fourth after rounds of (72-68). Sport Allmond, (-3), is the last Roadrunner in the top-5 after rounds of (69-72).
Eli Hendricks, (+1), is just outside the top-10 in 11th after rounds of (74-71), while Matthew Cleary, (+12), recorded rounds of (77-79) on the day.
The Roadrunners will be looking to make it three straight victories in the Bojangles Tennessee Intercollegiate when they tee it up on Tuesday in the final round at Tennessee National Golf Club in Loudon, Tn.
