Effective Monday, The Dwell Hotel’s dining space, Terra Mae, will close for renovations and reopen in early March — with a new name, a different menu and a completely unique experience, said officials.
Owner Seija Ojanpera purchased the 110-year-old building in 2015. Since that time, she has transformed the space, introducing The Dwell Hotel, a luxury boutique hotel, and Matilda Midnight, a cocktail lounge opposite the restaurant space.
In the coming weeks, a new concept will be unveiled that captures the spirit of The Dwell Hotel and Matilda Midnight.
“The time is right to breathe new life into the space and menu,” Ms. Ojanpera said. “We can’t wait to share it with our guests in a few short weeks.”
The hotel and bar will remain open for regular business during the entire remodel. All outstanding gift cards will continue to be honored.
