Retired From The Chattanooga Police Department After 28 Years

Lynn O. Bible, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.

He was a proud United States Army veteran, who served one tour of duty in Vietnam.

Lynn retired as sergeant from the Chattanooga Police Department with 28 years of dedicated service, including the SWAT and Narcotics Division.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gayle, brother, and grandson, Noah Shields.

Lynn is survived by his son, Adam Bible (Paula); daughter, Jeana Bible; sister, Sandy Crouch; granddaughters, Ashleigh and Lauren; nephews, Mike, Tim, and Terry.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 22, in the Heritage Funeral Home chapel with Pastor-Chaplain Joe Sanchez officiating.

Interment with military honors will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.

Visitation will be Sunday, from 4-7 p.m., and Monday, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
