Mitchell, Bettie Jean Morrow

Bettie Jean Morrow Mitchell, 72, of Rossville, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018. A lifelong resident of the North Georgia, Chattanooga area, she was a former employee of Darr’s Chow Time, where she worked for 20 years and was a member of Treemont Baptist Church in Chattanooga.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Nell Askins Morrow.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roger “Spider” and Kristie Hayes of Rossville; and three grandchildren, Steffenie (Greg) Cooke, Lance Hayes and Natalie Hayes.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22 at Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from noon-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
